With the introduction of steel trusses at New South Metals, this may just be the simplest, most affordable method to get that project on your mind DONE! Our packages are perfect for both contractors and DIY homeowners.

How it works:

Our steel trusses are placed directly on top of the post essentially connecting the roof system directly to the foundation. Our steel trusses are factory predrilled and equipped with “cups” or brackets to mount 2x6 purlins vertically directly to the truss, add some roofing and Trim and your off and running.

When you buy a package from New South Metals, be assured you will be supplied with all the necessary framing, roofing, trim kit, fasteners, hardware, and knowledge you need to complete your project.

Insulation?

For our enclosed packages we offer a vinyl back 3” fiberglass insulation kit. This insulation has an R-10 value and an easy bolt on to your package and best details of all is that it’s simple, affordable and in stock and when completed you have a nice finished interior.

Windows and doors.

We do stock a simple window and walk-in door for your project. We do not sell garage doors, possibly the only part of you build we cannot help with, we recommend you work with a garage door company for this finishing touch. What we do provide is a complete framed and trimmed opening ready for you have your roll up doors installed.

Do we erect buildings?

We do not install our post frame packages, however we do have contractors we can connect you with to get your project completed. If you are a contactor looking to partner with New South for installs give us a call.
